Many thanks to John Elwood and Sally Burkhart for all their hard work in getting our sanctuary put back together. It took slightly less than three months to complete. The first service in the newly-renovated sanctuary was Sunday, June 27, 2010. Pastor Peggy Ray preached the sermon, “Standing on the Shoulders.” Jean Hamilton -- John’s sister, visiting from Bellingham to visit Win Elwood, 90-year-old mother of Jean and John – sang a solo, “The Holy City,” accompanied by Janet Foley on piano.
